A little—or maybe a lot—about me, depending on how tired my eyes actually are. I’m Maggie: a 44-year-old married mother of five (bonus mom to countless more) and grandmother to one very precious little girl. I’ve always been a bit of a nomad, moving through life’s chapters in one apartment, three duplex, two townhomes, and six houses—from Plymouth, Massachusetts, all the way to Walla Walla, Washington, finally landing in a small town outside my hometown of Pittsburgh. Professionally, over 28 years I’ve worn many hats: babysitter, pretzel-kiosk barista (tips make a world of difference!), Nurse Aide, contact-center veteran for nearly three decades, and even an administrative assistant at HOPWA. Today I’m diving into the financial services industry and gearing up for an exciting new adventure. When I’m not juggling family life or career shifts, you’ll find me reveling in everything autumn and Halloween(but never pumpkin spice), cursing out the summer sun, and chasing perfect overcast skies.
